JANIS K. STOCKS, a 1974 graduate of the University of San Diego Law School, became a Certified Specialist in Family Law in 1980, and was admitted to a fellow to the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers in 1993. She is a fellow of the Academy of California Adoption Lawyers and the American Academy of Adoption Attorneys. Ms. Stocks has specialized in family law matters and adoption law since 1976.
HILDY L. FENTIN graudated from Rutgers School of law in 1980, after which she gained admittance to the bars of Massachusetts and Connecticut, where she worked until 1983. A former Legal Aid attorney in the San Francisco area, since relocating to San Diego in 1986, Ms. Fentin has focused exclusively on family law, becoming a Certified Specialist in Family Law in 1981.
Both Ms. Stocks and Ms. Fentin are highly sought after to speak at family law seminars, and serve on numerous committees in leadership roles for the family law community.
